Interesting quote. I think though that recipes have soul. I know when I make a recipe that was my grandmother’s, I think of it as having a soul and that it is being passed down to me so that I can keep passing. That way the soul is never forgotten. On the other hand I do think every cook adds soul to a recipe when they make it their own! Sounds like you have some great things to look forward to!
