Orange Glazed Parsnips

The glaze nicely coats the little parsnip rounds.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups PARSNIPS, sliced ½ inch thick
  • 1 cup WATER, boiling
  • ½ teaspoon SALT
  • 2 tablespoons BUTTER
  • 1 tablespoon HONEY
  • ¼ cup ORANGE JUICE
  • 1 teaspoon GRATED ORANGE PEEL
Instructions
  1. ) Cook sliced parsnips in boiling water & salt until tender About 10 minutes
  2. ) Drain & remove from saucepan
  3. ) Heat remaining ingredients together in saucepan.
  4. ) Add parsnips
  5. ) Serve hot. Makes 6 servings
