Unusual to find asparagus paired with mustard, but it works.
Awesome Asparagus in Garlic Mustard
Ingredients
- 1 lb ASPARAGUS, trimmed & cut in 1 inch pieces
- ¼ cup BUTTER
- 2 cups FRESH MUSHROOMS, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons DIJON MUSTARD
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon GARLIC, minced
Instructions
- ) Put asparagus in large skillet with enough water to cover
- ) Bring to a boil & cook over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes until tender crisp---do not cook until completely tender
- ) Drain & return to skillet, adding remaining ingredients
- ) Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through about 5 to 6 minutes
