Awesome Asparagus in Garlic Mustard

Unusual to find asparagus paired with mustard, but it works.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb ASPARAGUS, trimmed & cut in 1 inch pieces
  • ¼ cup BUTTER
  • 2 cups FRESH MUSHROOMS, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons DIJON MUSTARD
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon GARLIC, minced
Instructions
  1. ) Put asparagus in large skillet with enough water to cover
  2. ) Bring to a boil & cook over medium heat 5 to 6 minutes until tender crisp---do not cook until completely tender
  3. ) Drain & return to skillet, adding remaining ingredients
  4. ) Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until heated through about 5 to 6 minutes
