Baba’s Mixed Hot Fruit Salad

A heartwarming choice for a cold night.

Baba's Mixed Hot Fruit Salad

Ingredients
  • 1 29 oz can PEACH HALVES, drained
  • 1 29 oz can PEAR HALVES, drained
  • 1 16 oz can APRICOT HALVES, drained
  • 1 16 oz can SLICED PINEAPPLE, reserve
  • ½ cup juice
  • 1 29 oz can WHOLE PLUMS, drained
  • ½ cup BROWN SUGAR, packed
  • 2 tablespoons BUTTER
  • ½ teaspoon GROUND CINNAMON
  • ¼ teaspoon GROUND CLOVES
  • ¼ teaspoon GROUND NUTMEG
Instructions
  1. ) Grease or spray with cooking oil a 3 qt baking dish
  2. ) Layer the peaches, pears, apricots & plums
  3. ) Place the pineapple slices on top
  4. ) In a saucepan combine brown sugar, butter cinnamon, cloves ½ cup reserved pineapple juice
  5. ) Stir & cook until sugar is dissolved & butter is melted
  6. ) Pour over fruit
  7. ) Bake uncovered at 325 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes 8) 12 to 14 servings
