Carol’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

I perfected this recipe to drum up points from my boss.

Carol's Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  • ½ cup--1 cube---MARGARINE
  • ½ cup CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER
  • ½ cup ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
  • ½ cup WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
  • 1 cup OATMEAL
  • 1 cup CHOCOLATE CHIPS
  • ½ cup UNSALTED PEANUTS, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon BAKING POWDER
  • ½ teaspoon BAKING SODA
  • ½ teaspoon SALT
  • ½ cup BROWN SUGAR
  • ½ cup WHITE SUGAR
  • 1 EGG
  • 1 teaspoon VANILLA
Instructions
  1. ) Soften margarine and peanut butter in the microwave 20 seconds
  2. ) Mix with brown and white sugars
  3. ) Sprinkle baking soda, salt and baking powder over mixture; stir in
  4. ) Add vanilla and egg and mix well, but don't beat
  5. ) Add flours, oatmeal, chocolate chips & peanuts
  6. ) Mix until all ingredients evenly distributed and just moistened
  7. ) Drop 1 to 1½ tablespoons of dough on a flat cookie sheet
  8. ) Bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes--till brown, but not too crisp.
  9. ) Makes 12 to 14 cookies---Yum!
