Far East Beef Wraps
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs GROUND BEEF (95% lean)
- ½ cup HOISIN SAUCE
- ½ cup CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
- 1 medium CUCUMBER, peeled, seeded & chopped
- ½ cup CARROT, shredded
- ¼ cup FRESH MINT, torn
- ¼ teaspoon SALT
- ⅛ teaspoon PEPPER
- 12 large LETTUCE LEAVES, Boston, iceberg or Romaine
Instructions
- ) Brown ground beef until no longer pink. Crumble as cooking.
- ) Pour off excess fat
- ) Stir in hoisin sauce & peanut butter. Cook until heated
- ) Remove from heat & add cucumber, carrot and mint. Gently toss
- ) Season with salt and pepper
- ) Evenly divide mixture among the 12 lettuce leaves
- ) Roll closed
- ) Serve with a favorite peanut sauce
