This title is my attempt to be contemporary. Do munchkins still get it on Pretty Mama with the Bunny Hop in grade school?
Hey did you hear The Easter Bunny people were advised by the advertising people (they rule the Universe, you know) that perhaps its time to change up the name Easter Bunny to match the times. Top suggestions were Mr. E., E.B. and Big B. Apparently initials are in? E.B. was eliminated quickly. In a name recognition survey more people associated E. B. with an Ebola outbreak than with the ol’ Bunny. Big B elicited visions of chasing Big Foot through northwest forests. Lastly in the end The World Wide Wrestling folks snatched up Mr. E for the name of their next nefarious hero.
Boy Howdy, I am relieved. It’s important to have some unchanging anchors to hold ourselves in place, especially since evolving times are unfolding at warp speed. It won’t be long and the phrase Beam me up, Scottie will only bring on quizzical looks like cat’s pajamas and bee’s knees. So that’s why I am doing the Hip Hop with the Easter Bunny. For the time being he remains a beloved character of our collective cultural imagination. Hip Hip Hop Hooray!
So I am putting a quarter in the jukebox—my salute to the darling tea pot by the U.K. company Teapottery— relaxing and having a cuppa of Wild Goose Tea—-oh yeah and a couple Cadbury eggs too.
This Teapottery teapot is available for purchase. See Teaware

I’m going to put a quarter in that jukebox right with you, Carol! Some things do need to remain unchanged, and the Easter bunny name is one of them. 🙂 Hope you had a wonderful Easter, and that teapot is ADORABLE.

I did have a wonderful Easter—thank you very much. I hope you had the same. The teapot is adorable. I can nod my head and agree with that since I am not the one who made it. Thus I don’t have to adopt an attitude of modesty. Lol.

Fun read! I should have been drinking tea (I actually do drink tea every morning, although I’m more a black tea than green tea type). Anyway, thanks!
Carol says
I will be adding ‘darker’ teas in the future. So stay tuned!
Peachy @ The Peach Kitchen says
I like Easter Bunny a lot better. That is one cool teapot you got there, Carol.

Helloooooooooo Peachy—–way way west of me. Thank you for ringing my blog door bell. I love love teapots with a little something extra. This one of course has the kookie kick extra. Lol

It’s not Easter for me without a few Cadbury Eggs. They are one of my favorite sweet treats. Love the teapot!
Carol says
You got that right about the eggs! They are so dang creamy! On behalf of the Mr. Jukebox teapot, thank you.

What a fun post and I LOVE that teapot.

If you ever have to panhandle, it would be totally more adorable and thus collect more moola than a plain ol’ tin cup. Just a thought—Lol!
