Stilton Cheese Pear Walnut Tea Sandwiches
 
Ingredients
  • ¼ lb STILTON CHEESE, crumbled & let soften for a few minutes
  • ½ cup WALNUTS, toasted & finely chopped
  • 1 RIPE PEAR, cored, peeled & sliced into 12 thin pieces
  • 6 slices THIN WHOLE WHEAT BREAD
  • 1 tablespoon BUTTER, softened
Instructions
  1. ) Lightly butter each piece of bread
  2. ) Divide the cheese equally among the 3 slices of bread
  3. ) Gently spread the cheese & sprinkle with walnuts
  4. ) Then arrange 4 slices of pear on each
  5. ) Top with remaining 3 slices of bread, pressing down firmly
  6. ) Trim the crusts & cut each sandwich into 4 pieces
