Double Pecan Praline Cheesecake
 
Ingredients
  • 3 8oz packages CREAM CHEESE, softened
  • 1 cup BROWN SUGAR
  • 3 large EGGS
  • 1 teaspoon VANILLA
  • ½ cup PECANS, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1 to 1½ cup PECAN HALVES
  • 1 tablespoon MAPLE SYRUP CRUMB CRUST
  • 1½ cups PECANS, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons SUGAR
  • 2 tablespoons BUTTER, softened
Instructions
  1. ) Blend all the above ingredients
  2. ) Press on the bottom & partly up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan
  3. ) Prebake crust at 400 degrees F for 6 minutes to bring out the flavor of the nuts.
  4. Cool before filling To make the filling:
  5. ) In a large mixing bowl beat together the cream cheese, brown sugar and flour until smooth
  6. ) One at a time add the eggs, beating slowly, but thoroughly
  7. ) Add chopped pecans & vanilla
  8. ) Pour into cooled nut crust. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 minutes When done, turn off heat, open oven door and allow to cool to room temperature. Chill
