Time to get started on my New Years Resolutions. So many improvements–so little time.
Breathe deep, keep calm and write something—my blogger friends will understand this one
Take time to act crazy and show the world what happiness is all about.
I won’t tell the same story at every get together.
Lose weight by no longer slathering whipped cream on sweet rolls.
Save money for a rainy day. So I can shop on line. No umbrella required.
Be my magnificent self no matter what others say.
Spend more time with friends and family.
Stop saying, You Go Girl, out loud to myself.

Fabulous list, Carol! It is one I could easily adopt. 🙂 Just a little note to once again thank you for the kind words you left on my blog last spring. It meant more than you can know. I am beyond ecstatic to be back blogging again and have missed everyone so much. I hope your holidays have been wonderful, my friend. Warmest wishes to you and yours for a happy, healthy and prosperous New Year!

Thank you, welcome back. The same wonderful New Year right back at you.

This is such a fun list! I especially love that part “show the world what happiness is all about.” Such a great goal! Good luck to you and Happy New Year, Carol!

After reading your post yesterday, I can see why you gravitated toward that one. Happy New Year to you too!!!

I’m all for develop more recipes!! And the treadmill? Adorbs! Love me some kitties. And…my Nana. God love her. She would tell the same stories over and over. To this day we still glggle at “fish patties.” Dad and I can’t go fishing without thinking about her talking about them.
Who knew a New Yea’rs Post would bring me to tears. I miss my Nana.
My resolution? Try to be a better family member and get to know my cousins better.
Happy New Year, my friend!
Carol says
I understand the tears. When something triggers tears unexpectedly—I call those grief pockets. No matter how long someone has been gone, the ‘missing’ lingers almost unknowingly until we hit a grief pocket. Then the missing comes to the surface again. I had a resolution last year which I intend to continue and that is to deepen my friendships. It has been SO rewarding! Happy New Year right back at you!

Are you offering poster sized prints of his blog because I need to post all of these resolutions where I can see them. I would add one: Stop worrying about becoming my mother. 🙂
You go girl!
Carol says
I think ‘You Go Girl’ too. I actually like to see those times when I am like my Mom. I am one of the weird ones I think. Laughing—–

Happy New Year Carol! Love the cats on the treadmill.
And I wish I could dig right in to your trifle. Chocolate, pudding, and cream are my weakness. I could probably eat the whole thing!
Carol says
Boy do I hear you on the chocolate pudding and whipped cream. I having a big dinner tomorrow. I am having my extra chocolate chocolate pudding and whipped cream for dessert.
