The love of a Mama for her baby—-oh my. Its sweet, tender, enfolding, all encompassing with the tensile strength of titanium.
I read a Mother Teresa quote which sent my thoughts to my mind attic rooting around in the past—the past as me as a child with my Mom and the past as me as the Mom. She said, “Love begins at home, and it is not how much we do—–but how much love we put in that action.”
Mmmm. We are American Women, dang nap it. We are the multi-taskers of the world, maybe even of the universe. Yet earlier today when I was reading another blog which invited readers to comment about their mothers, not a single person enumerated how many tasks their Mom could complete in one day. It was all about her expressions of love and support.
I don my crusaders cape, when it comes to the balance of good news and bad news. Mama Goose Flies Again to Combat the Evils of Bad News Overload! Thus I like to write down the positive stuff. It makes it last longer. Sometimes I just don’t have time to do the whole cape and fly by deal. Here is a mini-comment about my own Mama Goose.
My Mom has been gone 35 yrs. She flew away too young. She laid only one cherished golden egg, me. Her name was Pearl and she was as lovingly luminous as the gem. Her unconditional love has been my foundation to this day. I am so grateful.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mama. I love you! Honk! Honk!
If you would like to share about your Mom, so her inner beauty is broadcast to the world, please feel welcomed to do so. Lastly Happy Mom’s Day out there to all the mothers of the world and even the universe. Love is inclusive. :):):)
